We’re proud to introduce a powerful new addition to our attachment range: the GMR-NESBO EF 1500 PN Electric Sweeper, purpose-built for AllTrec machines.
A milestone in sustainable green space management.
At JvESCH in Cromvoirt, sustainability has been a top priority for decades. The family business, founded in 1962 and now led by the third generation, is active in the construction, maintenance and sustainable management of outdoor spaces. Driven by themes such as sustainability, safety, social responsibility and long-term relationships, JvESCH makes deliberate choices with a strong focus on the future.
Three years ago, in cooperation with our Dutch importer WeedControl, this led to the purchase of a fully electric AllTrec 8015F. Today (Sept-2025), the machine has clocked more than 3,100 operating hours, making it the most intensively used 8015F in practice. A perfect moment to celebrate Ton van Esch (co-owner and operational director), Jan Verstijnen (equipment investor/innovation officer) and operator Leon van Kasteren with cake, and to hear about their experiences.
Switching to electric was not an obvious choice for Ton van Esch and his team. “We convinced ourselves with facts. It was crucial that the machine could run for a full day, about ten hours, without recharging. In addition, we calculated the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), taking into account charging with our own solar panels as well as public charging stations. The break-even point had to be clear, otherwise we wouldn’t have made this step.”
Sustainability and image also played a role, but always in combination with practical and financial feasibility. “We have seen that the AllTrec simply does its job. For large tractors or heavy machines, electric is not yet viable. But with a compact, versatile tool carrier like the AllTrec, the overall picture works.”
Operator Leon van Kasteren experiences the benefits every day. His working day often starts as early as 5:30. “With a diesel machine that would be impossible in the village centre because of the noise. But with the AllTrec I can start calmly at the town hall without disturbing anyone. That’s a huge advantage.”
The range has positively surprised him. “I have done fifteen-hour days, even with a wide brush head and six segments, and still had capacity left. I honestly did not expect that.” Even after three years of intensive use and more than 3,000 operating hours, Leon notices no decline in battery capacity.
Comfort is another plus: “The cab is spacious and quiet. If I had to go back to diesel, that’s what I would miss the most.”
With more than 3,000 hours of practical experience, JvESCH has learned a lot and is already looking to the future. “We have two employees working full-time with the brush machine. One of them still operates a diesel, but we are looking at replacement. We are also considering new applications, such as using the AllTrec for hedge trimming. We see that the AllTrec offers those possibilities and want to explore them further,” says Verstijnen.
On the future of sustainability, he is realistic. “In recent years, the development has taken flight. Now we see that it is valued less in tenders and paid for less. Still, we look at it seriously: if the machine can last a whole day and the TCO is right, then we go for it. Such an investment is for the long term.”
The AllTrec 8015F at JvESCH is living proof that electric work can stand the test of everyday practice. With over 3,000 hours on the clock, the machine proves itself daily in reliability, ease of use and sustainability. For JvESCH, this is not only an investment in a machine, but in the future of green space management.
At AllTrec, we are proud that our machines contribute to the work of a wonderful family business with a strong vision. Their slogan “Buiten zit bij ons van binnen” (“The outdoors lives within us”) strongly resonates with our own mission. We are glad to support customers like JvESCH together with WeedControl in building a quieter, cleaner and more sustainable environment.
